N.Gopalakrishnan or better known as Ambi Sir is one of the most senior editors in Malayalam film industry. Mr Gopalakrishnan started his career in 1952 as an editor with Merryland Studio in Thiruvananthapuram. Established in 1951, Merryland Studio was the second film production studio in the Malayalam film industry and Gopalakrishnan joined its editing department during its initial years to become one of the prominent editors in the industry. His experience and skill in editing is unmatchable which earned him the Kerala State Award for best editing in 1991 for the Malayalam films Kilukkam and Abhimanyu.

Arun Kumar Aravind, was better known as the editor of director Priyadarshan, owns to his credit a span of 10 years experience as a film editor. Arun, who hails from Thiruvananthapuram, had done his schooling in St.Thomas Residential School, graduated from M.G.College, Trivandrum and later moved to Chennai to master Visual Effects from Pentamedia. He started his career as visual effect artist with Pentamedia Arun Kumar Aravind has been director Priyadarshan's, principal editor from Vettam (2004) onwards before he turned to filmmaking with Cocktail. He edited Priyadarshan's Tamil film Kanchivaram which got National Film Award for the Best Film in 2008. He had also worked with other well- known directors like T. K. Rajeev Kumar, Shaji Kailas, Suresh Krishna. Arun was nominated for Shantharam Award and National Award for best editing (Kancheevaram). Arun is the winner of 2011 Asianet Ujala Film Award & Mathrubhumi-Kalyan Film Award for the Best Editor.

Aiyyappan Nair is a film editor who became famous for his works in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and English films. He began his editing career in the year 2006 after his Diploma from SAE Institute. During his initial years in Four Frames he was assisting Mr. Arun Kumar Aravind in editing. The first film he assisted in editing was the Priyadarshan movie Bhagam Bhag. Aiyappan Nair has won the 19th Asianet Film Award for his editing work in the Malayalam Film Oppam. Aiyyappan Nair M S also edits short feature presentations and advertisements directed by Priyadarshan.
